V.innovate
About V.innovate:
This is an initiative of the Institute for Innovation and Development (IID), inspired and developed based on the HEInnovate platform, the OECD’s model of entrepreneurial universities. V.innovate is a platform comprising 3 free self-assessment tools (U.innovate; U.impact; P.innovate) for all types of educational institutions; startups; and provinces/cities.
These tools allow you to assess your organization by using a number of statements related to your organization’s business activities, including leadership, human resources, and business linkages. Comprehensive support materials and training, including practical case studies, are always available to support workshops and further development within your organization.
- U.innovate: for higher education institutions (universities, colleges) who are interested in self-assessing based on a number of statements related to the entrepreneurial and innovative nature of their higher education environment.
- U.impact: for higher education institutions (universities, colleges) who are interested in self-assessing based on a number of statements related to the entrepreneurial and innovative nature of their higher education environment through the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.
- P.innovate: for startup communities in each province/city
2. About the Institute for Innovation and Development (IID):
On July 10, 2018, IID received a license as a scientific and technological organization with the number A-1946 from the Ministry of Science and Technology, operating in the fields of research, providing science and technology services, and domestic and international cooperation related to innovation and development. In the early stages of its establishment, the Institute for Innovation and Development focused on research on innovation and economic development.
Since 2021, with a new team of personnel, IID has had a new direction for its development, focusing on innovation, creativity, and sustainable development, with a broader scope than economic innovation and development as before.
VISION
IID positions itself as a knowledge hub and a leading ecosystem builder for innovation and sustainable development in Vietnam. IID provides research, information platforms, and knowledge related to innovation, and serves as a nexus for domestic and international, public, private, and community resources to foster a robust ecosystem for innovation, entrepreneurship, and social enterprise in Vietnam.
MISSION
IID was established with the mission of mobilizing resources, particularly young talent, to transform Vietnam into an innovative, entrepreneurial, and sustainably developing nation.
VALUE
The Institute promotes policies that encourage innovation to drive economic growth and enhance societal and environmental awareness in Vietnam.
