The “Social Enterprise Innovation Supporting Program” is a joint initiative of the Vietnam-Singapore Friendship Association (VSFA), Vietnam Industry Research and Consulting Joint Stock Company (VIRAC), Hanoi University of Science and Technology Creative Startup Fund (BK Fund), and the Research Institute for Innovation and Development (IID).
The program aims to create an ecosystem to support innovative Vietnamese social enterprises in the context of the current strong digital economy and digital transformation. In parallel with the program, the “Social Enterprise Innovation Program 2024 – Promoting Inclusive Social Enterprise Development” (SEIP 2024) will provide in-depth training to enhance the capacity to apply new technologies, improve production and business organization, train human resources and business management, develop startup ecosystems, and enhance innovation capacity in business operations. The program provides social enterprises, impact enterprises, and social startup enterprises with effective tools to optimize business operations, sales, and communications.
After the application and selection process, 17 enterprises have been selected to participate in the in-depth training program, which will be held in October 2024. The training program includes 3 intensive training sessions in Hanoi and 3 online training sessions with lectures, consultations from experts, lecturers, and experienced entrepreneurs. Notably, enterprises also have the opportunity to connect, exchange, and learn from each other through face-to-face meetings and the program’s online communities.
In particular, with the launch of the “Social Enterprise Innovation Supporting Program”, this will be a lever to help Vietnamese social enterprises enhance their capacity in their business operations.
