Social Enterprise Innovation Support Program (SEIP)
The Social Enterprise Innovation Program (SEIP), led by VSFA and IID with domestic and international partners, supports Vietnamese eco-enterprises and social enterprises through training, mentoring, certification, networking, and market access. In 2025, the program helped businesses strengthen branding, showcase at Techfest 2025, gain certification through iMapVietnam.org and RaoThuong.vn.
Overview
The Social Enterprise Innovation Program (SEIP) supports Vietnamese eco-enterprises and social enterprises in strengthening innovation capacity, brand readiness, certification pathways, and market access. Through training, mentoring, networking, and ecosystem platforms, the program helps enterprises become more visible, credible, and prepared for sustainable growth.
Problem Statement
Limited branding and marketing capacity prevents Vietnamese social enterprises from reaching wider markets and growing sustainably.
The SEIP program is designed with the following key activities:
Intensive Online Training Sessions: Expert instructors guide enterprises through foundational modules: Brand strategy development; Visual identity & product packaging design; Digital branding & media platforms; and Pitching & defending brand ideas.

Innovation Fellow Network: Participating enterprises are paired with Innovation Fellows—outstanding students majoring in Communications and Marketing. This team provides continuous, hands-on support to help enterprises execute their ideas throughout the program.

1-on-1 In-depth Coaching for Top 6: The top 6 exceptional enterprises enter a personalized coaching phase. Through weekly private meetings with their Coach, enterprises finalize a robust, practical brand identity, ready to showcase at Techfest Vietnam 2025.
Opening Ceremony & Demo Day: Two milestone events marking the beginning and completion of the annual incubation journey. At the final Demo Day, actively participating enterprises will have the opportunity to pitch their models to call for investment, secure sponsorships, and connect with major buyers.

E-commerce Listing on "Rao Thuong": From October to December 2025, listing products on the Rao Thuong platform is a key part of SEIP's goal to enhance competitiveness. This initiative facilitates the digital transformation of 20 core enterprises, moving them from traditional sales to an online commercial model.
IID Impactonomy Mark Certification: The appraisal is conducted through close collaboration between IID's expert team and the enterprises to ensure objective and in-depth impact evaluation. A 1 to 5-star rating system (similar to the OCOP model) is applied to motivate SEIP enterprises to continuously improve their governance capacity and impact value year by year.
