Forest Ecopreneur supports businesses that protect forest biodiversity, restore ecosystems, and create sustainable livelihoods for local communities.
Overview
As part of the SAFE Initiative, Forest Ecopreneur provides five months of online business training and mentorship for 40 Vietnamese businesses, supported by 40 volunteer business mentors. Participants work across forestry, sustainable energy, services, and technology. The program helps them refine business models, strengthen operational capacity, and explore growth opportunities while maintaining their commitment to forests and communities.
Problem Statement

The Crab Family is not just a business model, but a passion that Ms. Han has been dedicated to for over a decade. However, throughout those 13 years, she admits that she focused only on familiar local activities, was hesitant to change, and never truly stepped out of her "comfort zone." The business operated instinctively and relied on existing experience, lacking a longer-term vision and strategic plans for breakthrough success.
