Essential Social Enterprise presents the history, foundation, and definition of Social Enterprise: the relationship between human behavior and the six essential values for inclusive and regenerative institutions in the 21st century. Above all, the book seeks to demonstrate that Social Enterprise is part of the change towards a just transition to a regenerative fair future, overcoming economic and social injustices as well as the climate disaster caused by the uncontrolled growth of the global neoliberal economic system. Society needs a new business model for our time, where financial equity, human well-being, and environmentally responsible behavior are the frameworks for conducting commerce.
Maximise your impact – A guide for Social Entrepreneurs is the output of a two-year of cooperation by four organisations – Estonian Social Enterprise Network, Koç University Social Impact Forum, Mikado Sustainable Development Consulting and Social Value UK – within the Know Your Impact: Social Impact Management Tools for Young Social Entrepreneurs programme. We set out on this journey together with an aim of empowering social entrepreneurs and equipping them with the tools to manage and maximise the social impact they create. We all believe in social entrepreneurship as a successful model to tackle the social issues experienced in Turkey, Estonia, United Kingdom and other parts of the world. Social entrepreneurs often struggle to overcome the obstacles in their way and sustain their social enterprises.
Social Enterprise: Entrepreneurship, Management, and Growth is the first book on Social Enterprise startups, covering both theory and practice through each stage of social enterprise development. This is also the first book on the market to conduct in-depth research on measuring social impact, scaling social impact, and growth. The book is entirely written by a group of Vietnamese authors.
